The Trosia genus includes 17 species, with 4 of them being very similar and forming the dimas group. This is Trosia dimas, Trosia nigropunctigera, Trosia rosita and Trosia obsoleta. They are characterized by white or slightly pinkish fore wings crossed by an alignment of small post median black spots. There is often a red mark on the costal edge. The thorax is white and marked with 6 red spots. The head, the abdomen (except the tip) and the hind wings are red. |
