The Trichromia genus includes more than 60 species.
Trichromia phaeocrota shows a bright yellow spot on the vertex. The upper side of the thorax is greyish brown. The upper side of the abdomen is red. The tip is yellow.
The forewings have a greyish-brown basal portion that extends along the inner edge to the margin close to the anal angle. This area is irregular in width and draws two bumps with a hollow in the middle.
You can distinguish a small black spot near the base of the wing.
The apex of the wing bears a large greyish brown round spot. It is crossed by dark veins and does not quite touch the edge of the wing.
The ground colour is pale yellow and is observed over a wide median stripe showing an approximately constant width due to the shape of the basal region and to the shape of the apical spot.
The thin border between the apical spot and costal edge is slightly reddish.
The hind wings are pinkish with a greyish brown mark close to the margin.
To be confirmed: I have not seen any red colour on the upper side of the abdomen of the Trichromia lucens specimens that I have been able to observe. It seems to me that Trichromia lophosticta shows more reddish markings on the fore wings.

Trichromia phaeocrota
I have shot this picture at Roura, at Camps Patawa, during a light trap night session.
I am not totally sure of the identification of this species and, maybe, I should only have listed this one as Trichromia sp.
