Sciara sp. (Meigen 1803)

Scientific name: Sciara sp. (Meigen 1803)
Common name:
French name:
Order: Diptera
Family: Sciaridae
Wingspan : 3 to 4 mm.
Biotope: Damp habitats, woodlands, damp meadows. The larvae feed on fungi, humus, rotting wood among others.
Geographic area: Worldwide.
Observation period :

Diptera of the Sciaridae family show a small head and a hunchbacked thorax.
The antennae of 16 articles do not exceed the length of the head and thorax combined.
The dark wings bear a median vein which forks into two secondary veins joining the edge of the wings.
The tibiae bear spurs at their extremity, at the junction with the tarsus.
I read that the Sciara genus is a general black colour with the underside of the abdomen being yellow (to be confirmed, in particular to know if this criterion apply to a specific geographical area).
The larvae have the shape of small cylindrical worms with a black head and a whitish and translucent body.

Sciara sp.
This view does not show the fork of the median vein but all the other criteria, the general look and the yellow underside of the abdomen lead to the Sciara genus with a high probability.
