Jumping Spiders are very small diurnal spiders.
You can tell them apart with the typical arrangement of their eight eyes. There are four large eyes on the front of the head and two other smaller eyes on the lateral side.
The two median eyes on the front are the larger ones.
The vision of Jumping spiders is very good and they chase by looking at preys.
Their legs are short and they often move by jumping.

Jumping Spiders (Salticidae sp.)
I have photographed this Jumping spider on the low growing vegetation bordering the Monts-la-Fumée footpath next to the small village of Saül.
I had enough time to install the flash but I could only shot two pictures before the spider disappears from my view.
