Robinsonia marginata has a white head and a white thorax. The fore legs are brown, the two other pairs are whitish.
The upper side of the six first abdominal segments is orange with a white median line. The last two segments, the lateral sides and the underside are white.
The fore wings are white with a thin dark brown border on the costal edge and on the outer margin. The brown border of the outer margin is slightly toothed towards the inside of the wing. The hind wings are white.
The underside of the wings is similar but the fore wings' borders are a paler colour.
