The Speckled Yellow is a small geometridae moth with a pale yellow to orange yellow ground colour and dark patches. The colour of the Speckled yellow looks like a panther's fur. Black marks may vary between moths. This moth is used to flying during the day. It over winters as a chrysalis. |

While walking along forest tracks, the Speckled Yellow usually flies away as soon as you get close. You just need to see where it lands and then come close slowly to take the picture. those "panthers" are not really dangerous! |
