The apex of the wing is marked with a whitish hyaline triangular spot with one of its angle touching a small pointed tip on the outer edge.
Then, there is a small brown chocolate mark preceding a broad whitish hyaline band. This band is crossed by a thin wavy brown submarginal line and it bears a small brown patch close to the costal edge.
The base of the wing is brown chocolate.
The hind wings are white and slightly fading to brownish towards the inner edge.
The upper side of the thorax is chocolate brown. The upper side of the abdomen is golden yellow, the tip is chocolate brown. The underside is white, the lateral sides are marked with an alignment of large black dots.
Parathyris cedonulli differs by the presence of a very dark spot, even blackish, dividing the broad hyaline band at the middle of the fore wings into two parts.
