I have observed this Mantis in the litter of the primary forest while walking along the Roche-Bateau footpath next to the small village of Saül. I have tried to use a key to determine the sub-family but I got stuck very quickly, having only a single picture. On what I have read here and there, the overall colour and the thin and elongated shape make me think to the Thespinae sub-family, but this is only an assumption without being sure at all. |
