Actually about 1100 different species of the Satyrinae family are known in the Neotropical zone.
The Euptychia genus, in which many species were listed, is now split into several smaller genera including Magneuptychia.
40 species are actually known in the Magneuptychia genus.
You can tell these species apart with their large size, the pale grey colour of the underside of the wings with some blue scales and thin and sharp brown reddish lines, and with the large ocelli on the under side of the hind wings, the two larger ones being marked with two or three small white dots.

Magneuptychia sp.
I have shot this picture on the Îles du Salut (Islands of Salvation in English, in fact on the Île Royale).
I have first thought to Magneuptychia newtoni but all the reference pictures show larger blue spots inside the small ocelli on the underside of the hind wings.
So not being 100% sure I have decided to stay at Magneuptychia sp.
