Caterpillar: Green with a white stripe on each side.
Host plant: Mimosa pigra. The caterpillar feeds on the leaves and can be used to control the proliferation of this invasive plant.

Leuciris fimbriaria has white wings bordered with yellow on the costal edge and marginal edge of the fore wings and on the marginal edge of the hind wings.
The marginal edges are also ornated with a line of small silvery hyphen-shaped marks.
The wings sometimes show small yellow diffuse spots which draw hardly visible cross lines.
