Gonuris leonnatus has wings with a strongly serrated margin. The basal half is generally brownish grey in colour and the other half is reddish brown in colour. A thin, sinuous brown antemedian line and a straighter postmedian line bordered with dark brown on the basal side are distinguished. This brown border is clearly wider from the middle of the forewing to the inner edge. It is marked perpendicularly by the crossing of the lighter veins. Gonuris flaminia has a postmedian line with a very thin brown border. |

I have shot this picture at Roura, at Camps Patawa, during a light trap night session. I identified the species more than 10 years after the observation, thanks to "Google Image". |
