Diaperis boleti
Three decaying Birches have hosted some Birch Polypores in my garden.
I have observed this Diaperis boleti just after they have been pushed down by a strong gust of wind.

Diaperis boleti
I have got some problems with the thick body of this insect and the lack of light. The depth of view is a little too short, and no question to use flash light on insects with so shiny elytra.
