[To know more about the Black Stork]    [Top]
The Black Storks, on their way south, take advantage of a stop at the Grand Étang de Pontoux to accumulate the reserves necessary for their long journey.
One of the 6 storks present was ringed and we managed to read the 4 characters written on one of the rings. After verification this Black Stork was ringed in the Czech Republic.
I continue my digiscoping tests by filming with my smartphone on my bird spotting scope.
I still need to improve on various points.
I wasn't careful enough with the alignment of the whole thing. As a result, we can see black or dark areas in the corners of the video, especially at the bottom.
I need to get a sound recording system. It will be better as a soundtrack than added music.
I need to find a ball joint system that allows movement without too much vibration.
I also need a smartphone with better video quality.
