Boriza argentipunctata shows lengthy fore wings which are hold roof-like over the body when at rest.
The abdomen ends by two small peaks which extend slightly beyond the wings when landed.
The fore wings are white with orange areas and reddish markings.
You can see two reddish patches along the costal edge. The first one, located at about one third of the total length, is triangle-shaped. The second one, extending from the middle of the costal edge to the vicinity of the apex, is clearly larger and more rounded-shaped.
There is a third lengthy reddish patch, of an intermediate size, close to the anal angle.
The submarginal area shows white spots outlined with reddish. They must be the origin of the species name.
The hind wings are white.
