Asturodes fimbriauralis has the margin of the wings ornated by a golden yellow band delimited by dark brown markings, often a thin solid or dotted line on the margin edge and an alignment of spots or dashes on the inner side of the wings. The remaining parts of the wings are a paler yellowish white colour with dark brown markings. On the fore wings, you can distinguish one submarginal wavy line and one lasso-shaped median line surrounding a dark spot next to the costal edge. The basal area is strongly marked. The hind wings are only crossed by one or two alignments of spaced dots. |
