Leafhoppers of the Allygus genus are large elongate leafhoppers which show white cross veins and small black spots on vertex and fore wings. There are dark forms and pale forms. You can recognize Allygus modestus with the thin dark diagonal lines running from the centre of the vertex to the eye. Allygus mixtus is very similar to Allygus modestus but does not show these thin dark lines on the vertex. Leafhoppers of the Idiocerinae sub-family show a clearly broader and shorter vertex. |

The thin dark diagonal line is clearly visible on the vertex. So I think that this one here is Allygus modestus. |
