Flight time: Starting from August for the new generation. Adults over winter and appear again next spring. You can observe them till May.

Caterpillar: Green or reddish with dark lines and a black head.
Host plant: Wild Carrot (Daucus carota), Rough Chervil (Chaerophyllum temulum), Wild Chervil (Anthriscus sylvestris) and Japanese Hedge Parsley (Torilis japonica).

The Small Purple Flat-body bears antennae which are almost as long as the fore wings.
The head and the base of the fore wings are pale yellowish grey with black scaling.
The half of the fore wings close to the inner edge is a reddish brown colour.
The other half, close to the costal edge, is whitish grey. It is marked with black spots, and in particular with one sharp large spot at mid-length.
The hind wings are whitish.

Small Purple Flat-body (Agonopterix purpurea)
The pattern of the fore wings makes me very confident in the species identification. I can add this small moth to the list of the species observed in my garden.
