2005 was rather focused on butterflies in my home's neighbourhood.
I took also some pictures of moths.
I shot some pictures of birds, but quickly stopped because of the bad results. I do need a better lens.

This picture was shot through a window.
Canon EOS 300D, EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM lens.
Focal length 300 mm, f/5.6, 1/125 s, 400 ASA. Camera on tripod, focus distance: about 2.5m.
Post-processing: Image cropping and contrast adjusment to compensate the low quality of the lens.
The picture would have been better with the subject not centered, but this was not possible.

The interest of this picture is only due to the butterfly landing with its wings wide open.
